Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
