This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility that provides comprehensive cardiovascular services to the region. The facility features 20 operating rooms and maintains a Level 2 trauma designation, supported by experienced ancillary staff including 3 physician assistants and utilizes EPIC documentation systems.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:
• Provide locum cardiothoracic surgery coverage for scheduled gaps in call coverage
• Work 24-hour call shifts requiring 10-14 days of coverage per month
• Handle approximately 1 case per day in a hospital-based rounding practice setting
• Serve adult patient demographic in a Level 2 trauma facility
• Perform coronary artery bypass surgery procedures including CABG and arterial revascularization
• Conduct redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgery
• Perform pericardial window procedures
• Handle heart valve repair and replacement surgery including mitral valve repair
• Must be Board Certified with Fellowship Training required
• Active Ohio medical license and BLS/ACLS certification required
• Must be available for specific coverage dates throughout the year
• EPIC experience preferred
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days with emergency privileging consideration
• Travel reimbursement includes lodging at approximately $150/night

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
