Senior Scientist - Computational Protein Design

Senior Scientist role focused on developing and deploying automated computational pipelines for large-scale protein binder design. The position supports molecular discovery efforts by accelerating generation of design candidates and libraries across multiple therapeutic targets using machine learning and structural biology approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate machine learning protein design workflows for binder generation
• Build scalable pipelines for designing large libraries of de novo proteins across multiple targets
• Apply computational methods to support multiplexed screening and receptor discovery efforts
• Collaborate with experimental scientists and data teams to enable rapid validation and iteration
• Contribute shared tools, workflows, and best practices within protein design community

Requirements

• PhD in computational biology, structural biology, bioengineering, biophysics, or computer science with protein design focus
• OR Master's degree with 3+ years of protein design experience
• OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of protein design experience
• Demonstrated experience designing binders, minibinders, or antibodies computationally
• Strong Python programming and workflow automation skills for large-scale experiments
• Familiarity with AI/ML protein design tools such as AlphaFold, ProteinMPNN, or RFdiffusion
• Experience integrating computational design with experimental validation and screening workflows
