Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Loss Prevention Patrol in Totowa, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support loss-prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.09 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to site contacts and/or emergency responders. Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
