Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering outstanding imaging services. Utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, you will conduct vital diagnostic procedures, collaborate with an exemplary group of medical professionals, and provide much-needed reassurance to patients through timely, precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating each step with kindness and diligence
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring doctors to generate exceptional diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus

Skills Needed

• Technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
