Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering top-quality patient care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technologies, you will carry out diagnostic exams, work harmoniously with a team of healthcare providers, and help ensure that patients receive the clarity they need through timely and precise imaging.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each procedure with empathy and understanding
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment effectively, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Detail each procedure and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards in care

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred

• Demonstrated technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work autonomously as well as a key member of a multidisciplinary team
