Role Description

The Front Desk Manager oversees all daily administrative operations at our Jacksonville office. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role. As the first point of contact, you will ensure a seamless patient journey from check-in to check-out. Because we serve a diverse community, this role requires a bilingual professional (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with and support all of our patients.

Key responsibilities include managing front-of-house operations, optimizing the appointment schedule, and maintaining precise patient records. You will also lead the insurance and billing lifecycle—ensuring all insurance is verified, claims are submitted promptly, and outstanding pending claims are followed up on diligently.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Requirement: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) to assist our diverse patient base.

• Customer Experience Excellence: Proven ability to manage patient satisfaction and de-escalate concerns with a professional, empathetic touch.

• Administrative Proficiency: Expert-level receptionist skills, including multi-line phone management and front-desk flow optimization.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to act as the liaison between patients, clinical staff, and insurance providers.

• Insurance & Billing: Experience verifying coverage, submitting dental claims, and following up on outstanding accounts receivable.

• Scheduling & Logistics: Proficiency in managing complex dental schedules to maximize office productivity.

• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and accurate billing.

• Education: High school diploma required; experience in a dental or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
