Ability to educate and advise the customer on which products best fit their needs.Coach members of the sales team to deliver a standard of customer care consistently.Oversee the sales team to achieve operational targets by providing business plans and monitoring the performance of the sales team to ensure the specific portfolios of business performances are met.Deals with any escalated customer service issues and questions that may ariseIncreases new business by initiating contact with prospects through local store marketing efforts, community involvement, cold calling (face-to-face and phone), quote calls, and walk-ins to build interest, match needs with products and services, and close the sale to meet the agreed upon production and active customer goals.Executes all aspects of Branch Operational Excellence (BOE)Key Attributes:High school diploma or equivalentActive Property & Casualty license2+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance sales or service experience3+ years of Staff Management experienceSome Commercial Lines experience or knowledge helpfulProven track record of the ability to generate new business sales, or retain existing business, or cross-sell other lines of businessBackground in growing a Branch and building a successful teamExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work well on a teamPrecise verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to deliver a tailored, white-glove experience to all clientsPreferred Attributes:Bachelor's DegreeExperience handling multi-carrier quoting preferred2+ years of Commercial Lines experiencePrior Agency Owner a plusBilingual (Spanish/English)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
