Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening and night shifts, 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730), weekend and holiday rotation required

• Comprehensive adult and pediatric emergency care with full subspecialty support and regional referral capabilities
• Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Comprehensive Cardiac Center with advanced ECPR/ECMO capabilities
• Epic EMR system with 20 hours of orientation provided
• 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts with interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Magnet-designated academic medical center recognized as a leading teaching institution and referral center

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency examination prior to start (two attempts with strict passing criteria: 80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I and charge experience preferred
• Willing to float as needed within the health system
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
