Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar support position is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification is a plus
• Capable of assisting with classroom management and following instructions from lead teachers
• Able to support students with varying abilities, including those with special needs

Responsibilities:

• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students under teacher guidance
• Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and lesson preparation
• Support students’ educational, social, and behavioral growth
• Monitor classroom environment to ensure safety and engagement
• Provide supervision during non-instructional times such as lunch, recess, and transitions
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or behavior plans as needed
