BVU is Hiring – Director, Marketing & Communications
Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) is looking for an experienced Director, Marketing & Communications to join our team.
We’re looking for a strong marketing professional who can see the big picture, bring new ideas and help us think strategically about how BVU tells its story, reaches new audiences and strengthens its visibility throughout Northeast Ohio.
This is a Director-level role, but because we’re a small organization, it’s also hands-on. The right person will enjoy developing the strategy and bringing it to life.
What you’ll do:
Lead BVU’s overall marketing, communications and brand strategy
Help identify new and creative ways to increase awareness of BVU and engage our business and nonprofit audiences
Develop marketing campaigns that support BVU’s programs, services, events and organizational priorities
Tell the stories of BVU’s impact through strong, engaging content
Lead our digital presence, including our website, email marketing and social media
Serve as BVU’s webmaster and help us continually improve our website and digital communications
Use Salesforce, analytics and other tools to better understand our audiences and measure what’s working
Identify public relations and visibility opportunities for BVU
Work closely with our President & CEO, staff and Board Marketing Committee on marketing priorities and new ideas
We’re looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, strong writer and creative problem solver —someone who understands marketing and communications, is comfortable with technology and data, and is also willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
