Manufacturing Technician

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing job where you can build technical skills? This Manufacturing Technician position involves working with specialized glass, crystal, and precision components, with the opportunity to learn more advanced inspection and metrology processes as you gain experience.

You'll clean, inspect, handle, and package precision components while following detailed manufacturing and quality procedures. Manufacturing, inspection, optics, or metrology experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is important for this role.

Manufacturing Technician Job Duties

• Clean and inspect glass, crystal, and other precision components
• Load and unload parts into specialized fixtures
• Inspect parts for defects and compare defect sizes against MIL specifications
• Package finished parts for shipment
• Follow detailed manufacturing and quality procedures

Opportunity to Learn Metrology

• Around your second month, you may have the opportunity to expand into metrology and gain experience with precision measurement equipment.
• You may learn to prepare parts for measurement and use equipment such as interferometers and microscopes to measure and evaluate components.

Manufacturing Technician Requirements

• Able to follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures
• Comfortable performing hands-on, detail-focused work
• Manufacturing, inspection, optics, or metrology experience is a plus
