SANITATION/LEAD PERSON

Monitor all established quality assurance standards. Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Clean Team. Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals and established standards for the Clean Team. Ensure execution of best practices and standards. Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for customers. Monitor and enforce quality assurance standards. Encourage and coach associates to deliver excellent customer service. Manage scheduling and performance reviews of Clean Team associates. Maintain inventory and orderliness of the Cleaning Center. Practice preventive maintenance and report repairs. Handle customer and employee inquiries promptly and professionally. Adhere to all food safety regulations, safety procedures and legal requirements. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Ability to handle stressful situations. Flexibility and adaptability. Knowledge of basic math. Effective communication skills. Desired Qualifications Any retail experience. Any sanitation/janitorial experience. Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing). Ability to promote trust and respect among associates. Ability to communicate company and job-specific information to associates. Ability to create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated. Display of a positive attitude. Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards. Monitoring and control of supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs. Inventory awareness and orderliness in the Cleaning Center. Practice of preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repairs. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner. Manage scheduling of Clean Team associates to ensure adequate coverage. Understand the store's layout and locate products for price checks. Adherence to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and identifying unsafe conditions. Notify management of customer or employee accidents. Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud. Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align organizational goals. Ensure Clean Team associates comply with company training standards. Supervise and coach direct reports in their duties; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback. Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines. Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
