Virtual School-Based SLP- Virginia

A great K-12 school in Virginia is now looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based position. Responsibilities

* Provide evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
* Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.
* Work in a K-12 school setting with students across a variety of grade levels.

Experience

* Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred.

* Experience providing speech therapy in virtual settings preferred.


Education

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License.
* Virginia Department of Education License with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain one.

Employment Type

* 1099 Contract

Work Hours

* Full time or part-time schedule based on district needs.
