Work Environment

This role is situated in our modern outpatient office, a facility designed for effective patient interaction, therapy sessions, and staff collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients, including complete history reviews and specific assessment techniques, leading to well-documented plans of care.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to both patients and their families, ensuring collaborative goal-setting that aligns with patient needs.
• Implement treatment protocols based on clinical assessments and patient progress, maintaining flexibility in approaches to adapt to evolving healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals as required, and documenting any changes in patient status that may necessitate care plan adjustments.
• Manage discharge planning thoughtfully, ensuring appropriate follow-up care is arranged, and provide comprehensive documentation that reflects the patient's care journey through consistent record-keeping.
• Juggle effective time management in daily responsibilities while upholding productivity expectations, actively participating in team meetings and community outreach efforts.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge, competencies, and skills, fulfilling roles such as clinical instructor for interns and new graduate therapists.
• Champion a superior patient experience by promoting accessibility to care and collaborating with team members to navigate barriers to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work with a varied clientele, primarily focusing on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing exercise protocols aimed at addressing specific patient needs.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient record management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
