Their content reaches millions of viewers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to lead their short-form content strategy and help expand audience engagement across multiple channels.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist with a passion for short-form content and a deep understanding of today's social media landscape.

Working closely with content editors, designers, and marketing stakeholders, you'll own the strategy, publishing, optimization, and performance of short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. You'll identify opportunities within long-form content, coordinate asset creation, manage publishing calendars, and continuously optimize performance using platform analytics.

The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical thinking, understands platform-specific best practices, and has exceptional attention to detail when it comes to content quality and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Content Management

• Lead the strategy and execution of short-form content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, and Feed), and YouTube Shorts.
• Develop platform-specific content strategies that support audience growth and engagement.
• Identify compelling moments from long-form YouTube videos for repurposing into engaging short-form content.
• Ensure content aligns with each platform's best practices, trends, and audience expectations.

Content Production & Quality Control

• Review short-form video edits and ensure captions, formatting, and branding meet quality standards.
• Create image-based social content, including carousels, quote graphics, featured images, and promotional assets using Canva.
• Edit simple video content and caption animations using CapCut where required.
• Coordinate with designers to develop creative assets for campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Publishing & Community Management

• Schedule and publish content using Later, Meta Business Suite, and YouTube Studio.
• Maintain organized publishing calendars and content workflows within Notion.
• Monitor and engage with online communities across multiple social platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams on cross-channel campaigns, newsletters, and promotional initiatives.

Analytics & Optimization

• Monitor platform analytics and campaign performance.
• Identify trends, audience behaviors, and content opportunities.
• Continuously optimize content strategy based on performance insights.
• Stay current with platform updates, emerging formats, and algorithm changes.

Required Hard Skills

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Social Media Management or a similar digital marketing role.
• Proven experience managing and growing TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of short-form video strategy and platform algorithms.
• Excellent written English with outstanding grammar and attention to detail.
• Experience using Canva, Later, Meta Business Suite, and YouTube Studio.
• Experience editing short-form video using CapCut or similar software.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and publishing calendars simultaneously.
