Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Efficient time management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Smartphone to communicate with physicians via messaging apps. Proficiency in nursing skills such as: IV starts and blood draws. NG tube placements. ECG rhythm interpretation. Lab and ABG interpretation. Critical care drips and titrations. Management of ventilators, arterial lines, chest tubes, and central venous lines. Assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and families. Description: The position requires working in a critical care environment. Daily responsibilities include patient care for individuals requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. Nurses will engage in a variety of procedures and use advanced equipment to support patient recovery. Flexibility to float to various care areas as needed is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills and teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care. It is crucial to manage time efficiently while ensuring that patient needs are prioritized. Previous experience in a high-acuity setting and familiarity with advanced medical devices is preferred. Candidates should be adept at providing care for adult and geriatric populations with critical health conditions. Nurses must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities during emergencies. The ability to work collaboratively with all team members is necessary for success in this role. Compliance with assigned training and certifications is mandatory for continued employment. Dress code includes wearing designated scrub colors and professional attire guidelines. This position serves as a replacement for permanent staff.
