Linux Systems Administrator

Linux Systems AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure and enterprise services for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, systems maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, security compliance, and enterprise operations within a DoD environment. This position requires an active Secret clearance and Security+ certification.Required Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of hands-on Linux Systems Administration experienceActive DoD Secret Security ClearanceCurrent CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT Level II compliant)Experience administering enterprise Linux environments such as: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Rocky Linux CentOS Oracle LinuxStrong understanding of: Linux operating systems and kernel fundamentals User, group, and permission management File systems, storage, and volume management Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls) System monitoring and performance tuningExperience with scripting and automation using: Bash Python AnsibleFamiliarity with STIG implementation and compliance requirementsExperience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardeningAbility to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
