Spend time with friends or enjoy a quiet moment on your own in our relaxed bar. Offering an all-day menu and refreshments, sample whitefish tempura, kushiyaki (skewers), tacos and a selection of light snacks. Located just off the lobby, the bar offers captivating views overlooking lush gardens.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, following established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Provide knowledgeable and engaging service by explaining menu offerings, flavor profiles, and pairing recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen awareness, and responsible alcohol service standards, maintaining a safe dining environment
• Accurately enter and process orders using POS systems, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are met
• Manage bar operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including billing adjustments, while adhering to accounting and company procedures
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver attentive, personalized service to ensure satisfaction and uphold hospitality standards

What To Bring

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card and ServSafe is required for this role
• Maui Liquor Card preferred, but not required
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Prior bartender experience or related work
