Urgent Care Physician

We are currently working with AFC Urgent Care in Memphis, TN and they are seeking some ongoing Urgent Care locum coverage starting ASAP. At AFC, their mission is to provide the best healthcare possible in a kind and caring environment, in an economical manner, while respecting the rights of all of their patients. AFC Urgent Care Memphis, TN Urgent Care: • Seeking ongoing coverage starting ASAP • Need until per provider found (had a provider retire) • Need 1-3 days per week • Hours: -Mon-Fri (8a-8a) -Sat-Sun (8a-5p) • Patient Load: 65 per day (1.5-2 providers) • 3-4 patients per hour per provider • Always double coverage • 4 exam rooms • Procedures: 50%-60% Upper Respiratory, Colds, Cough, Flu & Strep, Infections, Bites & Rashes, Ortho Injuries such as knee, shoulder and back pain, Lacerations and I&Ds, Workers Comp/Industrial Patients, DOT and Insurance Physicals • DOT is highly preferred but not required • Lab and X-Ray onsite • Support Staff: 2-3 MAs, 1 x-ray tech, 1.5 medical reception • MAs do all triage • Must have active TN State License and DEA • EMR: Experity I look forward to hearing from you, Kind Regards, Maci Matherne Recruiter The Talent Society o. f. w.
