Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalist;Internal Medicine

Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective treatment plans Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Manage chronic illnesses and acute care needs Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in medical records Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention Participate in on-call rotations as required Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine 1-3 years of hospitalist experience preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of hospital protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing patient-centered care Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts 1:10 overnight call rotation 617-bed facility Closed ICU Average Daily Census: 250 patients Average Daily Admits: 38 patients Duties: Rounding and admits No procedures required Support Staff: APPs Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
