With global distribution and sites located throughout North America and Europe, Washington Mills opens the door to a world of opportunity, creativity, and challenge.What You'll DoThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance, mechanical repair and installation of all machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds. This position is responsible for the safety of their employees, keeping their assigned work areas safe, and compliance with all environmental regulations. The Maintenance Manager will report to the Plant Manager.Directs maintenance employees in their roles and responsibilities to meet objectivesComplete projects on schedule and within budget; promote quality, first time repairs, and ensure completion of preventive maintenance scheduleAnalyzes problems and directs repairs by scheduling maintenance personnel and ensuring timely and accurate repairs are completedSchedules preventative maintenance in order to eliminate machinery breakdown and reduce downtimeCharges maintenance repairs against various accounts so labor costs are allocated to the proper cost centersContinually monitors and analyzes maintenance department activities in order to reduce costs and improve production efficiencySchedules/supervise the repair or replacement of all defective equipment according to priority and in conjunction with productionEnsures compliance with all applicable corporate and governmental guidelines, rules, and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental issuesPurchases cost-effective supplies as required by the maintenance department to support the needs of the plantCoordinates subcontractors and outside vendor activities to meet site needsMaintain close communications with various department supervisorsWhat You'll NeedTo be successful in this position, you must:Possess an associate's degree with at least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experienceHave at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing settingBe able to work weekends and respond to callouts, when neededHave excellent leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of team and be able to communication with different levels of the companyBe able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and walk, bend, and stoop throughout the dayCompensationWe proudly offer robust compensation and benefits packages, including:Competitive pay commensurate with experienceHeavily subsidized medical and dental plansEmployer-sponsored retirement planCompany-paid life insuranceImmediate paid vacation and generous holiday timeFamily-friendly sick and personal leave policiesOpportunities for career developmentInterested?
