Physical Therapist- PT Home Health, Marlborough, MA- local or travel

Protouch Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated home health team. This role involves providing personalized, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong clinical background and a passion for helping patients regain function, mobility, and independence. This position is open to both local and traveling Physical Therapists.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, their family, and their physician.
• Administer a wide range of skilled physical therapy treatments and interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and the use of assistive devices.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, safety precautions, and disease management to promote self-care and prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) of all patient visits and progress. This includes detailed OASIS documentation for Medicare and other payers.
• Work closely with the entire healthcare team-including physicians, nurses, and other therapists-to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as required by state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience as a PT, with prior home health or outpatient experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience with OASIS documentation.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a patient's home environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Shift: M-F -8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week. 13 weeks - 26 weeks!

Primary coverage areas will be Worcester/Marlborough areas30 hours guaranteed, FT available30 units per weekMust have home healthHCHB highly desiredQualifications: HCHB or the online training & HH experience required

Skills Current State License as a Physical Therapist - Required Proof of current CPR certification - Required Current driver's license. Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required Previous home care experience - Preferred Education Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program - Required Compensation Details: Total Taxable Pay: $1400 Total Non-taxable Pay: $1610
