About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance to join their team. This executive will be a key officer, instrumental in shaping the organization's strategy and leading essential financial functions. The role involves overseeing enterprise risk management, investments, cash management, budgeting, financial modeling, and reinsurance placement. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a small but impactful team, serving as a strategic advisor, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a vision for driving change and innovation, technical expertise to enhance financial and risk frameworks, and the leadership skills to guide the company into its next phase of growth and stability. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a Master’s degree and/or CPA designation preferred. A minimum of 7 years' financial management experience and 3 years' of leadership experience are required. The role demands a hands-on leader who can prepare to assume the CFO role in the near future and who is adept at managing and developing a team. Responsibilities also include leading the ERM program, driving the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and metrics, and building a financial analysis and data practice to enhance the organization's use of analytics in decision-making. The candidate must be prepared to engage with the board and be visible at all levels of the organization.
