A 267-bed hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Medical Surgical Neuro RN. The facility features an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery services, a main emergency room, a pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.

The role. Working on a 30-bed unit alongside approximately 29 FTEs, this RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to formulate diagnoses and drive individualized care plans with measurable, patient-specific outcomes. The nurse serves as a core advocate for patient safety within an interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making to the management of ill, injured, and recovering adults. A key component of the role is educating patients and their families on medications, procedures, and treatments, providing consistent support throughout each patient's stay. The position also carries responsibility for the effective and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment in delivering care.

What we're looking for.

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, Multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Days only, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Compensation. $27.72 - $39.60/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
