Territory Sales Representative - NC & SC (YMCA, Campus Rec, Local Gov)

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to own and grow a dynamic, multi-segment territory across North & South Carolina .

In this field-based role, you'll drive revenue by partnering with YMCA, Campus Recreation & Athletics, and Local Government customers - leading consultative, long-cycle sales and positioning us as a trusted, long-term partner.

This is a great fit for a self-directed seller who enjoys full territory ownership , builds strong relationships, and wins through credibility and consistency.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow a large NC/SC territory across multiple customer segments
• Spend 3+ days/week in the field building relationships and advancing deals
• Lead consultative, long-cycle sales with multi-stakeholder groups (executives, boards, municipalities, etc.)
• Drive new business and expand existing accounts through refresh cycles and long-term planning
• Partner with architects, designers, and stakeholders on facility planning and equipment solutions
• Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity with strong discipline

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in field sales or account management (B2B or solution selling)
• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
• Experience managing large territories and competing priorities
• Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North and South Carolina

Nice to Have

• Experience selling into YMCA or Campus Rec Facilities
• Background in fitness, wellness, or capital equipment
• Exposure to longer sales cycles tied to budgets or capital planning

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $52,200 - $71,300 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Charlotte, NC and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength's Sales Incentive Plan with monthly commission eligibility, in addition to base salary. The amount of any commission and bonus varies based on attainment of individual performance goals and other relevant factors, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.This position is eligible to receive a vehicle allowance to offset the costs of using a personal vehicle for business related purposes.This position is eligible to receive a mobile allowance to offset the costs of using a personal cell phone for business related purposes.
