Job Summary Under direct supervision, the Supply Chain Associate supports procurement, inventory, and logistics operations for curtain wall and façade projects. This role helps ensure materials, including aluminum extrusions, glass panels, hardware, sealants, and installation components, are procured, tracked, and delivered accurately and on schedule. The Supply Chain Associate collaborates closely with project managers, estimators, shop personnel, field teams, and suppliers to ensure project material requirements are met while maintaining quality, efficiency, and cost control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Skills Demonstrates proficiency in Fusion Ops, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other supply chain management tools. Maintains accurate purchasing, inventory, and logistics records. Prepares and manages purchase orders, packing lists, bills of lading, material certifications, and delivery documentation. Actively seeks opportunities to expand industry and technical knowledge. Generates reports and analyzes data to support procurement and inventory decisions. Production Coordinates procurement and delivery of curtain wall materials, including glass, aluminum systems, hardware, and sealants. Tracks project-specific inventory and ensures material availability aligns with fabrication and installation schedules. Coordinates inbound deliveries to warehouse and fabrication facilities as well as outbound shipments to job sites. Assists with material forecasting, reorder planning, and project-specific supply requirements. Supports cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy. Works collaboratively with project, shop, and field teams to maintain material flow and project schedules. Quality & Attention to Detail Monitors material deliveries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications. Maintains organized and accurate inventory and procurement records. Assists in resolving material shortages, quality concerns, delivery discrepancies, and supplier issues. Identifies opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work performed. Safety Adheres to and promotes OSHA and company safety standards. Complies with all PPE requirements and established safety procedures. Supports safe material handling, storage, and transportation procedures. Proactively works to prevent accidents and unsafe conditions. Problem Solving Utilizes available resources and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Assists in addressing supplier delays, inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and logistics challenges. Demonstrates sound judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced project environment. Supports continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations. Performs additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, construction materials, manufacturing, or a related environment. Experience coordinating deliveries, inventory, purchasing, or logistics activities. Familiarity with curtain wall systems, glazing materials, aluminum extrusions, or other construction materials preferred. Must be proficient in forklift operation and consistently follow all safety standards and procedures. Proficiency with Fusion Ops, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other business software. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a project-based environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or 5S principles preferred. Ability to work in warehouse/fabrication environments, including occasional standing, walking, lifting, and material handling activities.
