About this position The Spa Receptionist is responsible for performing duties and tasks that will increase the productivity of our institution. This position will work in a fast-paced environment and must have excellent time management and communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities Welcome and assist clients, guests, and students in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries professionally. Schedule appointments and perform appointment confirmations via calls or texts. Conduct facility tours to educate clients about services offered at The Spa at Northwest. Respond to and manage client escalations with professionalism and empathy. Ensure a warm, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience for all visitors. Assist with front office staffing coverage and day-to-day coordination as needed. Maintain confidentiality in all student and client interactions. Review and adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Supports staff in assigned project-based work. Provide mentorship to student therapists as needed. Support linen management by receiving, folding and stocking. Other duties as assigned by the Front Office Department supervisor. Experience REQUIRED In-field experience: 2-3 years as a Massage Therapist Previous experience in a leadership/lead/senior role Previous experience working in a spa, medical office, or wellness center Skills and Qualifications Must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the massage therapy field (with diploma, degree, or certificate). Must have a minimum of three years of work experience in the massage therapy field (WITHOUT diploma, degree, or certificate). Successful completion of High School, its equivalent, or a state-authorized examination certificate is required. Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or professionalism.
