Responsibilities
- Install control apparatus, switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Lead the placement of wiring, conduit, and motors based on blueprints.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment like ohm meters and volt meters.
- Coordinate material needs and manpower schedules with the site superintendent.
- Inspect electrical parts and circuits to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Complete essential paperwork including work orders, timecards, and look-ahead schedules.
- Manage truck inventory and transport equipment to various job sites.
- Conduct weekly safety training and toolbox talks for the field crew.
- Connect power cables and grounding leads to industrial equipment.
