In this role, you will focus on managing employee data, supporting new hire onboarding and orientation, handling various HR inquiries, and assisting with reporting.What You'll DoManage and respond to inquiries from employees and managers across multiple HR and payroll inboxesAccurately enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, including AS400 and Dayforce, for transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminationsFacilitate the new hire process from ICIMS to the AS400, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding dataReview and verify employee change documents to ensure completeness and proper authorizationSort incoming mail and process payroll-related documents, including garnishments and requests, for upload to ADPActively participate in cross-training initiatives across various People Operations functions to develop a broad understanding of the departmentAssist with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly HR and payroll reportsTake ownership of and contribute to special projects as assigned, gaining exposure to various People Operations initiativesAssist in the organization and set-up of New Metropolite Orientation (NMO), our onboarding program, including coordinating the IT setupWhat We're Looking For1+ years of professional experience within a corporate settingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; as well as familiarity with Google WorkspaceBasic understanding of HR/People data managementStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingEagerness to learn HRIS systems (AS400, Dayforce, ICIMS) and reporting toolsExperience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. The anticipated base pay for this position is $24.00 USD to $29.00 USD hourly. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment.
