St. Peters Hospital is seeking full time evening - Hospitalist physicians to join the Hospital Medicine team in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, collegial hospital medicine program within a physician friendly environment supported bystrong systemresources. Position Details: Provide comprehensive medical care to diverse population of critically ill adult patients, including admissions,roundingand discharge planning Manage an average census of 15 patients per provider with a staffing model of20providers Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Respond torapids and codes Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system Full Time Evening schedules: either 2 pm - Midnight OR 2pm - 2 am, 7 on / 7 off Requirement of 1900 hours annually, 475 hours per quarter Opportunity Highlights: Location:St. Peters Hospital, Albany, NY Closed ICU model with 24/7 in house Intensivist coverage in 400 Bed Community Hospital Strong collaboration with the hospitalist team, APPs and ED, and specialty teams Supportive practice environment focused on quality and provider wellness Large employedgroup of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Eligible for New York State medical licensure Newgradsencouraged to apply DEA eligibilityrequired Team oriented approach with a commitment to high quality patient care This opportunity isnot accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates Recruitment Package Base Salary: $315,000- $325,000 commensuratewith experience The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
