Our HVAC department is growing rapidly! If you have experience within the HVAC or plumbing industry, outside sales experience, a drive to hunt for and win new business accounts, and a passion for building strong long-term customer partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity!

Typical Responsibilities: As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and relationships and supporting contractors with the products and expertise they need to succeed.
- Meet or exceed the expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship development
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors and customers
- Conduct sales calls to follow up on customer inquiries and identify new opportunities
- Generate price quotes and prepare bids that meet customer expectations for quality and value
- Negotiate pricing for larger or high-volume customer opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Educate others, both internal and external, about HVAC
- Assist with customer deliveries when necessary
- Support the credit department with account follow-up and payment collection when needed
- Participate in customer events and relationship-building activities
- Maintain a professional image as a representative of the company
- Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain regular and reliable attendance
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing products and systems
- Strong cold calling, sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining acceptable profit margins
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Eclipse software preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
Licenses
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more, depth perception, and color vision.
- Work performed primarily inside an office setting but requires frequent exposure to outside weather conditions when traveling, on a jobsite, etc.
- Pass substance abuse screening.
