About the Role

A highly regarded litigation practice is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney with 7+ years of civil litigation experience to join its Pasadena office. This role focuses on complex commercial litigation and sophisticated post-judgment enforcement matters involving high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and substantial financial judgments. The successful candidate will independently manage challenging litigation matters from initial strategy through enforcement proceedings while collaborating with experienced litigators on high-profile disputes. This position provides substantial courtroom exposure, meaningful client contact, and opportunities to develop advanced litigation, negotiation, and judgment enforcement skills. Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle sophisticated post-judgment litigation and enforcement proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies designed to maximize successful recoveries.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct extensive legal research involving commercial litigation and enforcement issues.
• Prepare and defend depositions.
• Manage written discovery and document production.
• Negotiate settlements and favorable litigation outcomes.
• Represent clients during mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings.
• Analyze assets and enforcement options involving high-value judgments.
• Work closely with clients regarding litigation strategy and case developments.
• Coordinate with legal teams to achieve successful case outcomes.
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and trial materials.
• Maintain multiple complex litigation files while meeting court deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of commercial or civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling sophisticated litigation matters independently.
• Background in post-judgment litigation or judgment enforcement is highly desirable.
• Experience representing matters involving high-net-worth defendants is preferred.
• Active California Bar admission.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and litigation strategy skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education
