What You'll Do

• Provide urgent and ongoing patient care for a diverse caseload in the PCU setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including titratable medicationgtts (e.g., Cardene, Cardizem, Heparin) with manager approval
• Manage patients with conditions like AFIB/RVR, DKA, HTN, COPD, Stroke, post-cardiac cath, and post-surgical recovery
• Support physicians and interdisciplinary teams with procedures such as chest tube management and lumbar drains (preferred experience)
• Perform EKGs and pass competency exams as part of onboarding
• Collaborate with support teams including charge nurses, RTs, hospitalists, PT, OT, and ST

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• Minimum 2 years' recent RN experience in an acute or ICU setting
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
• Ability to handle complex patient cases and titratable medications
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible schedule including every other weekend and holidays
