Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for a Marketing Client in Irvine, CA Direct Hire | Onsite | Salary range for this position is $90 - $120K We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our financial operations. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
• Own monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Prepare month-end close journal entries
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statement packages
• Partner with department leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial results and identify trends
• Maintain accuracy of the fixed asset system, including reconciliation to the general ledger and monthly depreciation entries
• Provide support and guidance for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, as needed
• Assist with external audits
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Five years of hands-on experience in a Senior Accountant role

• Strong technical proficiency, capable of managing accounting processes independently in the absence of the Controller

• Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting software

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a strong, consistent employment history without major gaps

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proactive mindset with a curiosity to learn internal processes and improve workflows

Preferred Experience:

• Manufacturing or cost accounting exposure
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience supporting audits, budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis
• Experience providing guidance or support to accounting staff
