Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Manage IV insulin protocols and administer medications in accordance with facility standards
• Perform and oversee Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) as indicated
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in applicable state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Completed EKG course and/or telemetry competency test required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates are not eligible)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated ability to float across units and adapt to varying patient care environments
