As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout hotel and manufacturing locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests, visitors, and employees. Pay Rate: $15.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, manufacturing and industrial work areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and guests, report maintenance or security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
