Review and audit all activities related to medical dispensaries to ensure that all procedures, goods, and equipment comply with statutory requirements. Respond to inquiries from medical dispensaries regarding compliance issues. Investigate complaints and potential issues at medical dispensaries. Conduct follow-up inspections as assigned. Assist with inspection activities related to cultivation, processing, dispensing, delivery, storage, and seed-to-sale operations of treatment centers to ensure that all procedures, goods, and equipment comply with statutory requirements. Prepare written reports to document inspection findings. Initiate notices of noncompliance and work with management to communicate and resolve findings. Serve as point of contact with medical dispensaries on compliance actions for inspection related deficiencies. Provide education to facilities on compliance requirements as needed. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient in computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of computer data bases; knowledge and use of the compliance management system and licensing system used by the Agency; knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government rules & regulations. Skill in reading and writing; investigating and researching; knowing how to find information and identifying essential information; finding ways to structure or classify multiple pieces of information; using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches; inspecting and evaluating the quality of products; organizational skills. Ability to understand sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; effectively manage time; communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; make sound judgments; interpret, understand, and apply applicable rules, regulations and policies and procedures; ability to maintain strict confidentiality; ability to travel; ability to pass a thorough background investigation. Qualifications: Minimum: One (1) year of professional experience in conducting investigations, regulatory or compliance inspections. A valid Driver's License, participation in direct deposit, satisfactorily complete a background investigation, and fingerprinting are requirements for employment. Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
