Sr. Director, Global Diagnostics (Lung Lead)

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Director to lead global commercial diagnostics strategy for the lung portfolio, driving commercialization efforts across key oncology indications. This role combines strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and commercial expertise to advance diagnostics capabilities and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated global diagnostics strategy aligned with lung franchise brand plans and commercial objectives
- Drive commercialization and marketing plans for diagnostics with focus on launch readiness and patient impact
- Collaborate across franchise teams, medical affairs, R&D, and market access to optimize diagnostics initiatives globally
- Build partnerships with oncology stakeholders including advocacy groups, KOLs, and payer organizations to enhance value proposition
- Lead initiatives to drive biomarker testing adoption, patient journeys, and diagnostic pathway optimization across markets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field
- 10+ years pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics marketing experience
- Demonstrated track record in diagnostics launch and commercialization in oncology
- Proven team leadership with strong communication and cross-matrix influence capability
- Global or in-market experience developing and executing commercial diagnostics strategies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable strategy
- Deep understanding of lung biomarker landscape and drug commercialization processes
Compensation: $231,988-$347,983 base
