Associate Director, Diagnostic Partnerships, Oncology

Associate Director leading diagnostic partnership initiatives within AstraZeneca's Oncology Business Unit. The role involves managing external partner relationships, evaluating diagnostic opportunities, and supporting deal execution across scoping, negotiation, and contracting phases to advance the Global Diagnostics mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead partnership activities and manage relationships with external diagnostic partners and prospective partners
- Shape Global Diagnostics projects to align with business requirements, cost, quality, and timeline objectives
- Own deal processes including negotiation, contracting, and closure with Business Development support
- Evaluate diagnostic opportunities through due diligence and present partnership cases to oncology leadership
- Attend scientific congresses to identify opportunities and nurture partner relationships
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in relevant discipline
- 3-5 years contracting, business development, strategy, consulting, or pharma/diagnostics partnership experience
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and diagnostic business operations and processes
- Understanding of governance procedures, deal structures, CDAs, and due diligence
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information
- Excellent written and oral communication with financial literacy
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize under pressure and deliver results
Compensation: $172,624-$258,936 base
