Associate Director, Oncology Business Unit Strategy

Associate Director supporting AstraZeneca's Oncology Business Unit in strategic planning and business development. The role involves portfolio analytics, market assessments, and financial evaluations to guide investment decisions and commercialization strategies for oncology treatments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate external partnership opportunities through business case development, financial valuations, and scenario analyses
- Support oncology portfolio strategy using market assessments, competitive intelligence, and analytics
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities and inform strategic recommendations
- Develop executive presentations, briefings, and analytical reports for leadership and governance meetings
- Drive analytical excellence across annual planning, portfolio reviews, and forecasting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- 3-5 years professional experience in consulting, strategy, commercial analytics, or portfolio management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with market or business evaluation experience
- Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
- Life sciences, healthcare, or biopharmaceutical background beneficial
- Experience with AI tools preferred
Compensation: $151,080 - $226,622 USD annual base
