A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in Bronx, NY, supporting a closed-door delivery pharmacy specializing in efficient medication services. This role involves working with an experienced team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians using the Pioneer Rx system to ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety.
Schedule and Coverage Needs:
- Multiple shifts available, primarily 8 AM to 8 PM, with specific dates ranging from early to mid-February.
- Coverage includes weekdays and weekends with options for morning or evening shifts, accommodating flexible availability.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists in a fast-paced delivery pharmacy environment.
- Utilize the Pioneer Rx system to process and verify prescriptions.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
- Provide professional, patient-centered care ensuring timely medication delivery.
- Licensed pharmacist with active licensure to practice in the state.
- Experience with closed-door or delivery pharmacy operations preferred.
- Familiarity with the Pioneer Rx system or similar pharmacy software.
