Associate - Real Estate Finance

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its debt finance practice in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will engage in sophisticated real estate financing transactions, working with institutional lenders, private credit providers, borrowers, developers, and sponsors. Duties Draft and negotiate construction, acquisition, bridge, and permanent loan facilities secured by commercial real estate. Handle syndicated and participated mortgage loan facilities. Prepare intercreditor and co-lender agreements, subordination arrangements, guaranty documentation, and opinion letters. Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate transactions from structuring through closing. Work directly with clients and opposing counsel. Requirements 3-5 years of real estate finance experience. Experience in drafting and negotiating complex loan agreements. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
