RN - TELE

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit - Nights

This is a 20-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a combined medical-surgical telemetry unit with a focus on higher acuity cases. The role requires strong experience in critical care and telemetry nursing.

• Monitor and manage patients with various diagnoses including CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, and sepsis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety.
• Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated patient care.
• Handle high-acuity patients and perform advanced nursing procedures.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

• Must have an active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• 2 years of strong telemetry and PCU experience preferred.
• CPI certification is required.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line care/management is required.
