Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support a caring environment through agile response, reliable presence, teamwork, and integrity while helping staff, patients, and visitors throughout the location. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:30 AM - 05:30 PMTue07:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site contacts and first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to post orders. Support a professional presence in a healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, following applicable use-of-force guidelines, and maintaining readiness for changing conditions across the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. An armed guard card and/or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
