Opportunity Details- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with in-person coverage and additional weekend rounding and call responsibilities.
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Specialty: Psychiatry
- Hospital Information: The facility features a 28-bed inpatient psychiatric unit and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) with 24 chairs.
- Position Details: This role encompasses consult-liaison services and the chance to cover the Partial Hospitalization Program.
- Team Size: Comprising 5 attending physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents within a collaborative academic framework.
- Call Requirements: Participation in a consult call rotation.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry, with a commitment to obtain certification within 12 months.
- Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility to acquire one).
- DEA license.
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained).
A typical day may involve:
- Providing direct patient care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities.
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting community health initiatives.
Additional opportunities may include involvement in group education initiatives and pursuing continuing education to foster ongoing professional development.
