This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a collaborative environment, and leads by example.What’s in it for you?Competitive compensation with performance-based growthComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, disability, life)Paid vacation and holidays401(k) with company matchA family-oriented culture that values collaboration and integrityWhat makes you stand out?5+ years of hands-on residential electrical service experienceDemonstrated experience leading or mentoring field techniciansStrong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and best practicesCapable of working indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditionsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsReliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented professionalValid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug testResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Technical Expertise & Service DeliveryLead diagnosis and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and components according to safety codes and company standardsPerform and oversee complex installations, service upgrades, and preventative maintenanceConduct system testing, load calculations, and inspections to verify proper operation and code complianceServe as the field expert on escalated or technically demanding jobs, stepping in where others need supportMaintain a thorough understanding of current NEC codes and local jurisdiction requirementsTeam Leadership & MentorshipProvide on-the-job mentorship and skills coaching to junior and mid-level techniciansLead by example, in technical quality, customer interaction, and professional conductAssist management in performance feedback and identifying technician development opportunitiesSupport onboarding of new field team members and help acclimate them to Roby standardsBe a point of escalation in the field for technical questions, job-site decisions, and client concernsCustomer Engagement & Consultative SalesCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients, diagnosing concerns, explaining findings, and presenting service options with confidenceRecommend value-added solutions such as surge protection, panel upgrades, lighting improvements, EV charging, and energy-efficient productsProvide accurate estimates, service reports, and thorough documentation for each visitBuild lasting client relationships that reflect Roby Services' reputation for trust and qualityAchieve individual and team service sales goalsSafety & ComplianceEnforce and model adherence to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company protocolsMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment on every job siteEducate clients on electrical safety best practicesEnsure all work performed by the team meets permit, inspection, and code requirementsOperations & ReportingWork closely with dispatchers, supervisors, and the service team to coordinate and prioritize service callsAccurately record all completed work, parts used, time on site, and follow-up recommendationsProvide field-level feedback to management on process improvements, equipment needs, and team performanceWhy Roby Services?Roby Services is part of the Roby Family of Companies, trusted since 1950.
