Plumbing Design Manager

Hybrid: Conshohocken, PA

Duration: Long term Contract (possibility of extension)

Location: Hybrid: Conshohocken, PA. This role is staffed out of our Cincinnati, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Conshohocken, PA or Cary, NC office as a hybrid position with approximately 3 days per week in the office on average as needed for projects.

Pay rate: Hourly, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide overall supervision of a team of approximately 8 Plumbing Designers and Engineers.
• Perform plumbing design assignments for large pharmaceutical projects
• Provide technical reviews of plumbing teams work and deliverables
• Lead the team through department initiatives and workflows that include standardization and innovation

Qualifications:

• Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college in plumbing/mechanical preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 15 years of experience in a MEP Design Environment
• Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) preferred
• Knowledge of all aspects of plumbing systems
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD or other plumbing design software
• A demonstrated ability to solve problems, communicate effectively to all key personnel, manage time efficiently, and produce correct designs within budgeted time
