At Trinity Pension Consultants, our Accounting Assistant works directly with our Finance Department to keep our day-to-day finances accurate and on track, from processing deposits to reconciling accounts. What You'll Do

• Handle bank deposits of customer checks and follow up on overdue invoices to keep cash flow moving.
• Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and enter financial data accurately into Intacct.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, and research and resolve discrepancies when something doesn't match.
• Help with routine accounting functions.
• Assist the Finance Department with administrative items and support financial projects as they come up.
• Jump in wherever you're needed. We're a team, and we roll up our sleeves together.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Live in (or be ready to relocate to) Northeast Ohio.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• One year of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• A self-starter with good problem-solving skills who works well independently and takes pride in high-level client service.
