Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care within an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting, ensuring patients receive quality, coordinated care. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to promote positive health outcomes and safe patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate prescribed interventions to meet patient outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate care strategies while ensuring a safe, healing environment.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Evaluate patients' progress and revise care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the practicing state.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in acute or ambulatory care settings is advantageous.
• Obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Possess AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification.
• Hold AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
